What we eat has a huge impact on our health, but most health care professionals are unsure of how to talk with their patients about food. Join us for a night of interdisciplinary small group discussions and skill building with Minnesota's food access & equity leaders. Nutritious dinner from Soul Bowl provided.

Speakers include:

  • Jenny Breen, MPH, professional chef and advocate for local and sustainably raised foods with the University of Minnesota's Healthy Foods, Healthy Lives Institute

  • Kristen Williamson, Registered Dietitian, and product manager for Second Harvest Heartland's Rood RX program

  • Diana B. Cutts, MD, pediatrician at HennepinHealthcare and nationally recognized researcher in the area of Food Insecurity and its health impacts
