Every year in Minnesota tobacco use is responsible for 6,300 deaths and $3 billion in preventable health care costs. The Physician Advocacy Network is committed to supporting policies that reduce the harm of tobacco in Minnesota communities. Since 2017, the Physician Advocacy Network helped pass 12 local level tobacco prevention policies in Minnesota. This wouldn't be possible without the support of our advocates. Whether you have 5 minutes or 5 hours, you can make a difference!

Resources

Live Training and Webinars

The Physician Advocacy Network has created a series of free, evidence based presentations that are available as on-demand webinars or as live training at your clinic. Covering topics like e-cigarettes, trends in youth tobacco use and smoking cessation, these presentations are based on the latest scientific evidence and will give you tangible tools to address these important topics with your patients. CME is available for all presentations.
