Tobacco 21

In May of 2017, Edina became the first city in Minnesota to raise the tobacco sales age to 21. Since then, Bloomington, Plymouth and St. Louis Park have also passed Tobacco 21 ordinances and a bill was introduced during the 2017 legislative session to raise the tobacco sales age statewide. We need your support to continue to pass Tobacco 21 in communities throughout Minnesota and at the state level.

Minnesota law makers are considering a bill that would raise the tobacco sales age to 21 across Minnesota. Support this bill by telling your legislators that you support policies that protect Minnesota's youth from starting to smoke. Simply fill in your name and address at the link below and we'll send a postcard to your state legislators on your behalf.
